Tokyo, Japan – August 17, 2024
The International Volunteer Group - Japan, a General Incorporated Association (一般社団法人インターナショナルボランティアグループ), is excited to announce the Tokyo Yamathon 2024, an inspiring charity walk around the JR Yamanote Line. Scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2024, this year’s event marks the 15th anniversary of the Yamathon, celebrating 15 years of community spirit and social impact.
Since its inception, the Tokyo Yamathon has raised an impressive 55,000,000 yen, supporting both domestic and international causes. This year, all proceeds will be donated to three outstanding organizations: Waffle, Tochigi Conservation Corps, and the Japan Children's Hospice Association. These organizations are committed to promoting gender equality in tech, preserving the environment, and providing support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
